Volkswagen Beetle
My first car-related project was swapping the old drum brakes on this Volkswagen Beetle with disk brakes.
Electric Shopping cart Go-kart
This is the first go-kart that I built back in eighth grade. It was part of a school project that I had to research, build, and display.
Hippysaurus
This was a family project to enter into the Houston Art Car Parade. I helped my dad with the fabrication while my mom and sisters handled the decorating.
The frame was designed to carry the massive dinosaur while also allowing the person driving to sit at the top of the triceratops.
The Hippy tortoise
This was sparked as an idea after building the hippysaurus. There was a small fiberglass turtle next to the dinosaur when we pulled it out, and I decided to build a little go-kart frame for it.
It turned out amazing, except next time, I'm going to remember to cut a hole for the exhaust pipe.
